Bmw has just revealed, in premier, his new long-wheelbase 2011 5-Series Sedan, a project developed exclusively for the Chinese market. The new model presents new looks and design lines at high standards, which could please even the most pretentious drivers. Its new design lines shows elegance combined with a sporty style given by a very expressive front end and individual design features along the roofline. The special design is underlined also by the daytime driving lights provided with LED light rings together with optional xenon headlights.
The new BMW Sedan means also one of the most advanced drivetrain and suspension technology, being powered by a range of 3 straight-6 power engines developing between 150 kW/204 hp and 225 kW/306 hp maximum output.
In terms of driving experience, the car presents a unique feature represented by a mixture of a double wishbone front axle and the integral rear axle tailored to each individual model. At the interior, the new long-wheelbase sedan is featured with high comfort rear seat bench and special original options such as four-zone automatic air conditioning, rear-seat entertainment, a cooling box as well as electrically adjustable sunblinds on the rear side windows and a folding table integrated in the backrest of the front passenger’s seat.
The new model benefits of the Efficient Dynamics technology which helps in fuel economy and emission management due to the presence of an eight-speed automatic transmission making an additional contribution to the car’s efficiency just like EPS Electric Power Steering.
